Bit related to the newer replies to the article here, but I personally think online media into our daily lives is just going to get, not only better, but bigger - look at YouTube's video time amount increase, or Twitter's recent accouncement of allowing Tweets to contain video & media.

Or the idea of Google TV this winter... going to be an interesting ride!

It's a bit odd that big business can have its hands in so many big scale ventures while they fail so horribly at simply selling products.

Lol... HD DVD... that lasted, what a year? I ran a used shop for years and yeah felt really bad for everyone who sat in the HD DVD camp and watched Blu-Ray destroy their video libraries. Nice news? Usually can find these silly cheap (new or used for that matter), but yeah next question on everyone's mind - what's after Blu-Ray... oh yeah, 3D flicks... time to upgrade again :-)

Segway... So that's what that is! I saw a security guard on one the other day. He had a helmet and a sense of humor. He laughed at my "Rent-a-RoboCop" joke.

"You've heard that before, haven't you?"

"Yes, but you told it better."

If you go to Europe, in Berlin, Copenhagen, Zurich, ... You can spot the real Segway: it is called bicycle, does not pollute at all and you can even buy a decent one for less than €200...
