I would have LOVED to have been able to discourage people from smiling by stating that "The State doesn't agree with that, ma'am." On a side note, I once came across a license where some guy was giving a really cheesy grin and giving a thumbs-up, which is totally not allowed but made my day. I have always figured that if I get pulled over, the cop always comes up in his tough guy routine. Well, he's sure to laugh at my grinny mug shot, ant it'll break the tough guy routine.
