I have received grave news of a loved one and friend of mine that has passed over the weekend. I also work in her office and handle all of her patients, etc. My question, for those that i have missed calling to inform of the news, I would like to change her voicemail greeting...only I am unsure how to leave one the would be appropriate. Please help....

Sincerly,

Hey Rob,

Yeah -- that's what makes the practice even more odd. In the case of the woman whose husband died three years ago, she apparently buried him with a new and fully charged battery. It has since died, but she keeps paying the bill so that the voicemail remains active and linked to the phone.

Makes your family suddenly seem a lot more normal, eh?

"Some people are actually continuing to pay their loved ones’ cell phone bills after their deaths so that others can “call” them. One woman has been doing it for three years now."

Err... don't cellphones have batteries in them? Sounds like porkies to me.
